I would love to be a writer like Ernest Hemmingway and be able to go to Paris, sit in the cafe while sipping wine, watch the world go by, and write.  Do you know what he wrote mainly about in Paris? He began by writing about his growing up years in Oak Park, Illinois.  He went so far away to be able to open his mind and eyes to the stories of his life.

Writing is work!  Pulling sensible words together to describe the scene dancing within your mind can be daunting and, other times, flows like a raging river.  Unfortunately, moving to Paris is not an option for me, so I will have to find my inspiration from my 40 years of experience written in journals and notebooks.
