Blank Notebook

Something about  Me

I would love to be a writer like Ernest Hemmingway and be able to go to Paris, sit in the cafe while sipping wine, watch the world go by, and write.  Do you know what he wrote mainly about in Paris? He began by writing about his growing up years in Oak Park, Illinois.  He went so far away to be able to open his mind and eyes to the stories of his life.

Writing is work!  Pulling sensible words together to describe the scene dancing within your mind can be daunting and, other times, flows like a raging river.  Unfortunately, moving to Paris is not an option for me, so I will have to find my inspiration from my 40 years of experience written in journals and notebooks. A lot of journals and notebooks.

So I write about what I know, the things I love and sometimes hate.

I had a Christian Children's book (The Tent Maker) published some years ago. Unfortunately, my publisher decided to deposit over 800 authors' and musicians' royalty checks in their personal accounts. Yes, they were caught and punished. Thankfully today, I now own my rights to all of my works! And will soon publish again under my name.

And I pray God gives me enough time to go through all my journals and notebooks and publish my books. Also, to burn a few of them, or my youngest son says he will auction them off to the highest bidder!

Please join me at my blog, thetentmaker.blog.
